A sapling which was sown by Gen BC Joshi on 16th Oct 1993, is now a sprawling campus of 23 acres with pollution free healthy environment. It has turned into a healthy plant and is growing well in the beautiful valley of the Pithoragarh hills. General BC Joshi Army Public School has been established under the aegis of Army Head Quarters, Adjutant General's Branch, to cater to the needs of children of defence personnel including ex-service men, and to some extent to those of civilians and Non-Resident Indians. The School aims at providing quality education in an environment that ensembles the contemporary values of science and technology with our rich traditions, ideals and cultural heritage. It also ensures a judicious mix of academic competencies, physical fitness, discipline and social awareness. It prepares children for All India Secondary School Examinations and All India Senior Secondary School Examinations conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.

79th Independence Day Celebration

79th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour in the school on 15 Aug, 2025, graced by Col Indranill Sikdar, CO, 2119 Fd Hosp, as the Chief Guest. The pgme was uniquely presented as a Live Radio Show - 88.4 FM Panchshul Pulse: Hill Se Dil Tak, with students as RJs. Veer-Ras Kavita Gayan, News updates, Interviews, Inter-House Patriotic Song Competition by Classes VI-XII, Dance Performances and Uprorious acts by students of Classes I-V, were performanced during the event celebration. The Chief Guest appreciated the creativity of children's performances and expressed his wishes for the school to grow more by achieving high in all spheres. The pgme valedicted with distribution of sweets to students and the staff.

Rakhi Celebration with Real Heroes

On 6th August 2025, Gen B C Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh, joyfully celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with all pomp and show. Brig Gautam Pathania, Cdr, accompanied by Mrs. Shweta Pathania, Sr Dir FWO, graced the occasion by being Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour, accompanied by around 20 Indian Army Offrs. The guests were given a warm welcome in Kumaoni tradition. Students tied rakhis to our real heroes as a gesture of gratitude and affection. A captivating skit was performed by students portraying the essence of Raksha Bandhan, followed by a thoughtfully curated multimedia presentation showcasing the Rakhi Making Activity, exhibiting students’ heartfelt love for our great & mighty Indian Army. A special address by the Chairman inspired students and guests alike with his stirring words on patriotism, unity, and the deeper meaning of the festival. The celebration beautifully reflected the enduring bond of respect, love, and gratitude between nation’s youth and its protectors. The event concluded with high-tea and group photographs, making it a memorable day of honour, warmth, and camaraderie.

Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh Celebrates the Festival of Harela

On 15th July 2025, Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh, celebrated the vibrant and culturally rich Festival of Harela — a festival deeply rooted in the traditions of Uttarakhand, symbolizing environmental harmony and human well-being. To mark the occasion, students from the Middle and Senior Wings presented a captivating skit. The play opened with a scene showing 'Panchshul Pulse 88.4 FM Radio Station', where two RJs engaged in an insightful discussion on the importance of Harela. The narrative then transitioned into heartfelt portrayals of the serene and beautiful village life of Uttarakhand. Through their performance, students highlighted how festivals like Harela evoke memories of loved ones, especially those far from home. The play also underscored the cultural and environmental significance of the festival, promoting awareness of sustainable living. During the performance, students also showcased a unique tradition where people worship one another with Harela leaves, offering prayers for each other's well-being — a touching reminder of the values of care. Principal Mr. Vinod K. Bhama also took part in this tradition, joining the students in spreading blessings and goodwill. Dressed in traditional attire, students performed folk dances that showcased the cultural vibrancy of Uttarakhand. Adding to the festive spirit, stalls displaying traditional foods, arts, and musical instruments were set up, offering a glimpse into the rich heritage of the region. In his address, Principal Mr. Vinod K. Bhama expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Devbhumi Uttarakhand and commended the efforts of the students and organizers. He lauded their dedication in making the celebration both meaningful and memorable.

Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh Celebrates the Festival of Harela

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 was held with dignity and enthusiasm on 14 July 2025 at Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh. The ceremony commenced with the welcoming of the Principal, Mr. Vinod K. Bhama, who was accompanied by the Wing Coordinators, CCA Coordinators, and House In-Charges. They ceremoniously adorned the newly appointed Student Council Members with epaulettes and badges. The appointments spanned across the Senior (Classes IX–XII) and Preparatory (Classes I–V) wings, for the roles of School Captains, Vice-Captains, House Captains, and House Prefects. Following this, the Principal administered the Oath, inspiring the student leaders to perform their duties with integrity, dedication, and team spirit, and to lead by example in all spheres of school life. The ceremony culminated with a High Tea and Interaction Session in the Conference Room, where the Principal and faculty members shared words of encouragement with the new council members. The memorable event concluded with a group photograph, capturing the pride and promise of the school’s emerging leaders.

INTER-HOUSE ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION 2025

The Inter-House English Debate Competition was held on 20th May 2025 at Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh, with enthusiastic participation from students across all four houses. The event was conducted in two categories: Junior (Classes VI–VIII) and Senior (Classes IX–XII). The topic for the Senior category was "Generating Ghibli-style images by OpenAI’s ChatGPT is an exploitation of art", while the Juniors debated on the thought-provoking topic "Is war important for peace?" Participants showcased excellent oratory skills, critical thinking, and confidence as they presented well-reasoned arguments both for and against the motions. The competition fostered healthy rivalry, encouraged public speaking, and enriched students' perspectives on contemporary issues.

Inter-House Volleyball Tournament

Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh, conducted the Inter-House Volleyball Tournament on 19th and 20th May 2025 with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The tournament saw spirited participation from all four houses across three categories: Senior Boys (Classes IX to XII) Junior Boys (Classes VI to VIII) Girls (Classes VI to XII) After intense matches across both days, Bhagat House emerged as the overall champion of the tournament, showcasing exceptional performance and unity across all categories.

अंतर्सदनीय हिंदी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता

दिनांक 14 मई 2025 को जनरल बीसी जोशी आर्मी पब्लिक स्कूल, पिथौरागढ़ में अंतर्सदनीय हिंदी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन उत्साहपूर्वक किया गया। यह प्रतियोगिता दो वर्गों – कनिष्ठ (कक्षा 6 से 8) एवं वरिष्ठ (कक्षा 9, 10 एवं 12) – में आयोजित की गई, जिसमें सभी चारों सदनों के प्रतिभागियों ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया। कनिष्ठ वर्ग के प्रतिभागियों ने "संस्कारों पर हावी होती आधुनिक शिक्षा प्रणाली" विषय पर पक्ष और विपक्ष में अपने विचार प्रभावशाली ढंग से प्रस्तुत किए। प्रत्येक वक्ता को दो मिनट का समय प्रदान किया गया, और प्रस्तुतीकरण, आत्मविश्वास, शब्द-संयोजन, विषयवस्तु एवं भाषा-प्रवाह जैसे मानकों के आधार पर मूल्यांकन किया गया। वरिष्ठ वर्ग में छात्रों ने "क्या भारतभूमि से आतंकवाद का समूल विनाश संभव है" विषय पर प्रभावशाली व विचारोत्तेजक तर्क प्रस्तुत किए। इस वर्ग में तीन प्रतिभागी – पक्ष, विपक्ष एवं प्रश्नकर्ता – की भागीदारी रही, जिससे वाद-विवाद और भी अधिक रोचक व गहन हो गया। प्रतियोगिता ने विद्यार्थियों में तार्किक सोच, भाषिक कौशल एवं मंच पर आत्मविश्वास विकसित करने में सहायक भूमिका निभाई। निर्णायक मंडल ने सभी प्रतिभागियों के प्रयासों की सराहना की एवं विजयी प्रतिभागियों को सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ और विद्यालय परिवार ने इसे एक प्रेरणादायक शैक्षिक गतिविधि के रूप में सराहा।

Gen BC Joshi Army Public School Pithoragarh Celebrates Earth Day 2025

On 22 April 2025, Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh, observed Earth Day with great enthusiasm and awareness-driven activities. The celebration aimed to highlight the importance of sustainable living and inspire young minds to take responsibility for the planet’s future. Students of the Preparatory Wing presented an impactful skit portraying the drastic changes the Earth has undergone due to human greed and negligence. Their performance also offered a grim yet thought-provoking glimpse into what the world might look like fifty years from now if immediate corrective measures are not taken. Simultaneously, the Senior Wing students captivated the audience with a powerful nukkad natak (street play), spreading messages about environmental conservation and urging everyone to take meaningful action to protect the planet. Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Vinod K Bhama emphasized the rich Indian cultural heritage that has always upheld sustainability. He highlighted how many tribal communities in India continue to worship and protect nature as a way of life. He further encouraged students and staff to work towards making the school a "Zero Waste Campus" and to adopt a healthier, eco-friendly lifestyle. Mr. Bhama also appreciated the efforts of the students and staff, commending Mrs. Neelam Kothari and Mrs. Madhu Sharma (Senior Wing), along with Mrs. Rita Kathayat and Ms. Deeksha Waldia (Preparatory Wing), for successfully organizing the event and fostering environmental awareness in such a creative and impactful manner.

Fancy Dress Competition (Pry Wing)

A vibrant and captivating Fancy Dress Competition was conducted for Classes II to V in school on 16 April, 2025. The event served as a platform for the young learners to showcase their creativity, confidence, and expressive skills. The students came dressed in a wide array of costumes, representing animals, professionals from various occupations, and eminent sports personalities. Each participant spoke on the character they portrayed, bringing liveliness to the environment. The competition was well executed by Mrs Sarita Bhatt - CCA Coordinator, and Mrs Poonam Dhami - Event I/C. The Principal, Mr. Vinod K Bhama, congratulated all participants for their wonderful performances. He appreciated the confidence and performance of students and applauded the sincere efforts of teachers in making the event a success.

Bidding Heartfelt Adieu to Class XII: 2024-25

On February 13, 2024, Gen BC Joshi APS Pithoragarh bid a heartfelt farewell to its Class XII students in a memorable ceremony brimming with nostalgia and joy. The event was a vibrant blend of emotions, as Class XI students put together a series of captivating performances, including energetic dances, a thought-provoking skit, a witty Pariksha Pe Charcha, and soulful duet and group songs. Principal Mr. Vinod K Bhama, along with teachers, extended their best wishes to the outgoing batch, applauding their dedication and achievements. In a touching gesture, students were felicitated with special titles and heartfelt presents as tokens of appreciation and remembrance. The celebration concluded on a high note with group photographs capturing cherished memories, followed by a delightful lunch organized by the School Management—making it a truly unforgettable send-off for the graduating class.

Teachers’ Training & Workshops (01 - 13 Jan 2025)

Gen BC Joshi Army Public School Pithoragarh successfully organized a series of Training and Workshops for teachers from 01 January to 13 January 2025. The sessions were meticulously planned to offer a blend of informative and engaging content, leaving a lasting impact on the participants. The morning sessions were particularly rejuvenating, which set the tone for the day. The highlight of the Morning Sessions were the Yoga sessions conducted by the Principal, Mr. Vinod K Bhama. These sessions set a positive tone for the day, promoting physical and mental well-being among the teachers. The workshops covered an array of topics, including Adobe Express, NEP 2020 and NCF-FS, Cyber Security, Enhancing Reading and Writing Skills, Experiential Learning, Classroom Management and Happiness Quotient, Active Learning Skills, Tackling Workplace Politics, Importance of Hindi, Life Skills and Personality Development, Dress Code for Teachers, Importance of Discipline among Staff and Teachers, Skill Education, Managing Students and Teachers in Primary Classes. Teachers expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the thoughtfully designed sessions and webinars. The workshop concluded on a highly positive and inspiring note. In his closing address, the principal commended the teachers for their dedication to professional development and encouraged them to apply the skills and insights gained during the sessions. Honouring the Legacy of Bravery:Veer Bal Diwas at Gen BC Joshi APS

Gen BC Joshi APS Pithoragarh observed Veer Bal Diwas with heartfelt tributes to the Sahibzadas Baba Fateh Singh and Baba Zorawar Singh, commemorating their unparalleled valour and sacrifice for the nation and community. To honour their legacy, a Kavi Sammelan was conducted in the school where students passionately recited poems in Veer Rasa, celebrating the courage and resilience of the Sahibzadas as young martyrs at the age of 6 and 9 yrs by getting them bricked alive in the wall at Sirhind, now Fatehgarh Sahib. On this day, the younger Sahibzadas, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, were especially remembered for their extraordinary supreme sacrifice at a very young age when they were martyred for refusing to convert to Islam. Valedicting the pgme, the Principal, Mr. Vinod K. Bhama, paid homage to the Sahibzadas and the family of Guru Gobind Singh through an inspiring speech, highlighting the invaluable moral lessons drawn from their extraordinary acts of bravery and selflessness. It was a goosebumps giving show full of veer-ras and the students really felt enthusiastic and filled with courage& love for the motherland.

Christmas Celebration 2024

Gen BC Joshi APS Pithoragarh celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and fervor on 25th December 2024. The event was a wonderful blend of music, a quiz, a tableau, and inspiring speeches. The celebration began with a warm welcome by our esteemed Principal, Mr. Vinod K Bhama. A quiz on the topic of Christmas followed, testing the students' knowledge about the festival. The participants showed great enthusiasm and competitiveness, making the event both engaging and entertaining. Adding to the festive spirit, a beautifully crafted tableau on the theme of Christmas was installed, depicting the nativity scene and the essence of the festival. It became a center of attraction, symbolizing the joy and message of Christmas. The atmosphere was filled with enchantment as Mrs. Sarita Bhatt and the students of classes 2 and 3 performed a mesmerizing winter song. Their sweet melodies and energetic performance captivated the audience. The students of classes 4, 5, 8, and 9 delivered a memorable group song performance. Their harmonious voices and energetic presentation filled the air with joy and festive spirit. The celebration concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal, who spoke about the significance of Christmas as a symbol of love, kindness, and compassion. The Principal’s words encouraged everyone to spread joy and happiness to those around them. Merry Christmas to All!

Gen. B.C. Joshi APS, Pithoragarh, celebrated the 24th Uttarakhand Foundation Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The occasion was marked by a special assembly that highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. Students adorned in traditional Kumaoni attire presented a mesmerizing Kumaoni dance, showcasing the region’s vibrant traditions and spirit. In his address, Mr. Vinod K. Bhama expressed his heartfelt gratitude for being part of this divine land. He paid homage to the unique culture and heritage of Uttarakhand and encouraged students to embrace and uphold the cultural values of this region. The assembly concluded on an inspiring note with the rendition of the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and unity.

29th Annual Day Celebration

Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh, celebrated its 29th Annual Day with grandeur and enthusiasm themed "NAVRAS ... Sanvegon Ka Sanvaad" on 16 Oct., 2024. The theme for this year's annual day celebration was a captivating exploration of the Nine Emotions (Navaras) in the life of humans through powerful performances. Each act beautifully expressed one of the Navaras, capturing the essence of human emotions through dance, drama and music. The main highlight of the celebration was the portrayal of 'Hiljatra', - a traditional Kumaoni festival as a symbol of the lifestyle of Kumaoni people, which resonated deeply with the audience, celebrating rich cultural heritage of the region. The Principal - Mr. Vinod K Bhama, presented the Annual School Report, showcasing the school's remarkable achievements over the past year in the fields of Academics, Sports, and Co-Curricular Activities. He expressed pride in the school’s progress and thanked the staff and students for their constant and industrious efforts in bringing the laurels to the school. The event was graced by Col MS Shivakumar, CO 161 MH, as the Chief Guest, and Mrs. Gajalaxmi Sundar as the Guest of Honour. In his address, Col Shivakumar praised the students' stellar performances and commended the school for its efforts in preserving and promoting local culture through such events. Students achieving high in academics and other co-scholastic activities were given away Scholar Badges, Scholar Blazers and Scholar Ties and other rewards, alongwith presenting the Cock-House Trophy to Bhagat House for their meritorious performances throughout the academic session, during the felicitation ceremony. The celebration was valedicted with an amalgamating performance of all presentations together, followed by National Anthem and High Tea, leaving the guests and participants with a sense of pride and fulfilment.

Gen BC Joshi Army Public School Pithoragarh celebrated Teachers' Day 2024 with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The day began with a special assembly, where students showcased their talent through a series of captivating performances. The program included a heartfelt welcome song, a melodious group song mashup, an energetic group dance, and a heart-warming skit. Adding to the celebration, students from Class XII stepped into the shoes of teachers for the day, taking on the role of teacher representatives. In his address, Principal Mr. Vinod K Bhama highlighted the profound impact teachers have on shaping lives. He urged students to aspire to be not only successful but also empathetic and compassionate individuals, emphasizing that this would be the greatest tribute to their teachers. Gen BC Joshi Army Public School Pithoragarh celebrated Sports Day with great enthusiasm on 29 August 2024. The event featured a series of engaging competitions for the students of the preparatory wing, including sack races, needle and thread races, and lemon races etc. Several competitions were also organized for the teachers, with Principal Mr. Vinod K Bhama actively participating in the events. His involvement added to the spirit of the day, making the event even more exciting and memorable. In his address, Principal Mr. Vinod K Bhama highlighted the significance of the day, marking the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. He emphasized the importance of sports in building character, fostering teamwork, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The Sports Day was a resounding success, appreciated by all participants and spectators alike, leaving everyone with cherished memories of the celebration.

Shri Krishna Janmashtami Celebration at Gen BC Joshi APS, Pithoragarh

Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with a fervour of devotion and cultural vibrance by little Krishnas and the Bal-Gopals of Gen BC Joshi APS, depicting the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. A skit portraying various stages of Lord Krishna’s life, highlighting the Bal-Leelas, sacrifices and powers of the Supreme Lord which continue to inspire and mesmerize humanity. In his address to students and the staff, the Principal Mr. Vinod K Bhama enlightened them on the significance of Lord Krishna as the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, emphasizing that Krishna represents a complete and profound manifestation of divinity. He spoke passionately about the transformative power of the teachings in the Bhagavad Gita, urging everyone to read this sacred scripture and to embrace the path of Karma Yoga—a life of selfless action and righteousness. The program was met with resounding appreciation from all present, with the audience deeply moved by the performances and the insightful words of the Principal. The pgme valedicted with singing the National Anthem, followed by a group photo.

78th Independence Day Celebration at Gen BC Joshi Army Public School Pithoragarh

The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and show by the young students of Gen BC Joshi APS Pithoragarh. The celebration commenced with the solemn and proud moment of hoisting the national flag by the Chief Guest, Brig SPS Chouhan, Chairman of the school. The essence of India "Unity in Diversity" shone through the vibrant and colorful cultural performances presented by students from different grades. The program featured captivating dances by the tiny tots to patriotic songs, as well as stirring group songs performed by the four houses. In his address, the Chief Guest spoke eloquently about the many forms in which patriotism can be expressed. He highlighted how school days play a crucial role in shaping a child's personality and commended the students for their exceptional performances and the staff for their dedicated efforts. Principal Mr. Vinod K Bhama also praised the students and staff for their tireless contributions to making the event a success. The program concluded on a sweet note with the distribution of sweets to the students and a high tea for the Chief Guest and staff.

Har Ghar Tiranga: Tiranga Rally at Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh

In a vibrant display of patriotism and unity, Gen BC Joshi Army Public School hosted a Tiranga Rally on the occasion of 78th Independence Day, as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Principal, Mr. Vinod K Bhama, who flagged off the rally on 14 August 2024. A spirited group of 700 students and 23 teachers enthusiastically participated, marching from the school to the War Memorial at Kasni, Pithoragarh, and then returning to the school. Throughout the rally, the participants proudly waved the national flag, chanting slogans that echoed their deep love and respect for the nation and its heroes. At the War Memorial, students paid homage to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country’s safety.

On 14th August 2024, Gen BC Joshi Army Public School hosted a vibrant Inter-House Rangoli Making Competition, bringing together creativity and teamwork across three categories: Preparatory, Junior, and Senior. The event showcased artistic interpretations of themes such as Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, Paris Olympics, and the Culture of India.
Overall Results:

3rd Position: Cariappa House
4th Position: Thimayya House
The competition was a wonderful display of talent, creativity, and house spirit, making it a memorable event for all participants.

On 7th August 2024, Gen BC Joshi Army Public School, Pithoragarh, joyfully celebrated the festival of Hariyali Teej. The event featured a vibrant cultural program with students from both the Senior Wing and the Preparatory Wing participating. The students presented a skit that beautifully highlighted the significance, cultural heritage, and religious importance of the festival. Principal Mr. Vinod K. Bhama praised the students for their outstanding performance and commended the organizers for their efforts in putting together a meaningful and engaging celebration.

English Declamation Competition 2024

On July 29, 2024, Gen BC Joshi APS Pithoragarh hosted an Inter-House English Declamation Competition, featuring participants in two categories: Senior and Junior. Each house was represented by two students in both categories. The competition culminated in the following results:

Silver Jubilee Celebration of Kargil Vijay Divas at
Gen BC Joshi APS Pithoragarh

Gen BC Joshi Army Public School Pithoragarh marked the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Divas with a series of special events and performances. The celebrations aimed to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers who fought in the Kargil War and to instill a sense of patriotism in the young generation. The tiny tots of the Preparatory Wing set the tone for the day with heartfelt speeches, thoughtful reflections, and patriotic songs. Their performances were a touching tribute to the spirit of Kargil Vijay Divas. The highlight of the event was a poignant skit performed by students from various age groups. The skit depicted the life story of Captain Vijayant Thapar, a Kargil War hero, and left the audience deeply moved, with many shedding tears. The powerful portrayal of his bravery and sacrifice resonated strongly with everyone present. In his address, Principal Mr. Vinod K Bhama emphasized the importance of such celebrations in fostering patriotism and inspiring the younger generation to protect and serve the Motherland. He highlighted the significance of remembering and honoring the sacrifices of our soldiers. Workshop on Developing Communication Skills by the Principal, Mr. Vinod K Bhama

A 150-minute workshop on Developing Communication Skills was conducted by the Principal, Mr Vinod Bhama at school on 23 July, 2024. The workshop was a two-and-a-half hr non-formal and informative session especially designed to enhance the communication skills and abilities of the staff. The session was truly interactive with full involvement of the staff wrt their day-to-day communication skills. Mr. Bhama elaborated the fundamentals of verbal, written and non-verbal communication, offering valuable tips for improving communication skills. The workshop was a happy-clappy and Learn with Fun activity and was valedicted with distribution of chocolates to all participants.

Enriching Yoga & Meditation Session by the Principal, Mr. Vinod K Bhama

An enriching & rejuvenating 90-minute Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation session was conducted for staff in school by the Principal, Mr Vinod Bhama, today. With 72 enthusiastic participants, the session began with a series of conditioning asanas designed to prepare the body and mind, followed by a sequence of standing asanas focused on strength and balance, culminating in calming pranayamas to enhance breathing and relaxation. The meditation was truly taking the attendees in to a world of calmness and serenity.

Celebration of Guru Purnima at
Gen BC Joshi Army Public School Pithoragarh

On July 22nd, Gen BC Joshi APS Pithoragarh hosted a special assembly to celebrate Guru Purnima, recognizing the profound significance of Gurus in our lives. The students of Class III showcased various performances that highlighted the deep and lasting impact of Gurus. In a touching gesture, the students presented flowers and a greeting card to the school principal, Mr. Vinod K. Bhama, who dedicated these offerings to all the Gurus at the school. In his heartfelt speech, the principal emphasized how the presence of a guru can transform lives, illuminating the path to knowledge and wisdom. Fancy Dress Competition 2024 (Preparatory Classes)

The preparatory wing of Gen BC Joshi APS hosted a vibrant fancy dress competition on Friday, July 19, 2024, with 172 enthusiastic participants. The event featured five categories: "My Favourite Cartoon," "Things Around Us," "Aquatic World," "My Favourite Country," and "Our Freedom Fighters." The youngest participants charmed the audience with cartoon characters like Elsa, Anna, Batman, and Superman. Class II students showcased their creativity by transforming into everyday objects, while Class III participants dazzled as aquatic creatures, bringing the ocean to life. Class IV celebrated global cultures with traditional attire from various countries, and Class V paid homage to India's freedom fighters with poignant portrayals of iconic figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Rani Lakshmibai. The competition was a resounding success, highlighting the students' creativity, confidence, and talent. It was well appreciated by all!!
